JR Et Al,

At the NC Fall Affair this year, I was selling AC Delco EM and LM Air
Filters, and PF4 and NAPA 1038 Oil Filters. I was asking 9.00 each for the
1038's and 12.00 for the PF 4's. Sold 2 PF4's (all I brought with me) and
10 1038's.

One friend of mine, an "old geezer" wanted me to drop the price on the PF4s.
I asked him---"what about the 50 or so I saw in your shop?"---he walked
away......

On another note, while I still had a total of 24 PF4's in my dealerships
inventory (in a box on a back shelf waiting for me to get the money together
to buy them), I got a call from a dealer in Indiana or Oklahoma, I don't
remember which.

The parts girl told me she had a technician working at her dealership,
whose father had a Spyder, and wanted a filter for it. It was a show car
that wasn't driven much.

I thought about it for a minute, and told her if he wanted one, I would
package it and send it for full list price (about 14.00) plus the shipping.
That's when she said......
"Oh, he wants to buy all of them"......

To which I told her---Well tell him I said NO!!! But thanks for asking!!!!

BTW, I have assured Chris that someone will step up and be willing to take a
loss financially to get him what he wants---
Not likely with THIS bunch!! <GG>
