I have had some eBay seller troubles and was real happy I paid with paypal. Paypal's dispute resolution program got me a refund of my purchase price.

I'm seconding Grant's alarm about ebay seller "girlfriday".
 I purchased some gas heater rebuild parts on December 16, 2004 and paid the 
following day via Paypal. I still have not received the parts or an answer to 
my e-mail asking about them.
