Carb update & RE: <VV> Money Recovered on Ebay Rip Off

I finally figured out what was going on with one of my carbs that I couldn't
get the choke set on.  It seems that the new choke pull off has a bit (1/8)
more travel than the originals did.  Everyone said it wasn't that critical
of an adjustment but I had to know what was going on.  The other carb had
same problem but is adjusted as well.

Now I have one carb that the fast idle adjustment isn't working out.  After
setting the screw to specs I have it completely turned in!  I did replace
the throttle shaft with a new one, and I am wondering if there is a problem
with it.  I will check into this as time/frustration allows.  Any ideas?

Glad you got your money back on the Ebay rip off.  I recently had a
situation on Ebay as well.  The item was offered for sale, I won, paid with
Paypal and then got an email back from Paypal that my money had been
refunded.  Another day and I get an email from the seller saying the item
was out of stock.  Looking on Ebay the item is relisted for more money now,
guess I didn't need it after all.  Good thing is it was not a Corvair item.

I sure hope that you get your money from that Mr. Young in Florida...

month after payment and 2 weeks after filing a fraud complaint) that they

recovered the funds from her account and put them back in mine. This means a
couple of things, I think.... Paypal can be a pretty secure way of doing

on ebay, and...they can get into your account....? Don't want to start a
thread about ebay or paypal, but just to advise others who have been ripped
by her
or others....I

Now I'm looking for one Timothy Luce, owner of a couple of Corvairs, who
just
moved to Washington, who also ripped me off for a pair of cards by giving me
a credit card number (twice) that did not work....

Soon to post about a guy in FL if I don't get paid soon..... :-).
