I have a brother-in-law that retired from the Aurora Il. Police Force a year ago and he said they had a noise code that if your sound system could be heard at all 75 yards away, they impounded your car and you were fined $250. and it cost $250 to get your car back, he said they did not have many second time tickets to issue.
