Sorry for taking this thread in another direction but;

I have to ask why someone can put loud pipes on a bike and blip the throttle
all day without a problem from the authorities. At least here they seem to be
able to do that.

Yes, I do ride. 2002 Electra Glide Standard, stock pipes.
