 On a late model, it should have little, to no affect.
With the IRS the variables have more to do with the
relation of mounting of the front of the trailing arm,
ride height and the camber determined off of the
relation of the distances between the top and bottom
of the differential and the trailing arm respectively.
With a new mount, you will slightly raise the rear of
the drivetrain, but that will raise both the top and
bottom plains of the differential. Since the wheel is
expected to move up and down in a fairly uniform arc
and with minimal camber change, you should be fine!
