<VV> vent window weatherstrip

Hmmm this job sounds and looks a lot worse than it is (late model). One screw behind the window channel right at the top corner, two that hold the front chrome frame to the bottom/rear, and a nut with a spring behind it to tension the swivel for the vent window. Take all those off and the whole floppy mess falls apart.

The rear (vertical) strip needed to be trimmed about an inch to make it the same size as the old one. The front/bottom repro strip doesn't have the metal strip in it, so it needs to be glued in place rather than attached with metal clips to the front case chrome piece.

It's going back together nicely.

Les,

Are we talking early or late? If early, Bill Hubbell's article in a recent
Communiqué is an excellent source. If you are talking late, it ain't pretty
:o).
