I'm probably wrong about this but I believe there were 2 different groups that used that name.
 
One group did Doo Wop and the other was more Alternative sounding.
 
I like the Corvairs Doo Wops.
 
I've never really researched this.
 
I guess it's about time

  Went to a local flea market today and found a record  album by the
CORVAIRS, the album is called Templefire and was made about 1984.
I have never seen one of these before, anybody else know anything about
these guys ? The album is in perfect condition, still wrapped in
plastic-never been opened, cost me a buck.
 Also found three Corvair ads, a 65,66 and a 67.
