<VV> Corvair shocks: Bilstein vs KYB

Hello All,

I am considering an upgrade to monotube shock absorbers in several of our 
Corvairs.  I have Bilstein's (5100 series) in my Dodge 2500 4X4 and really 
like them, but they are rather expensive [although worth it in the 
Dodge].  I notice KYB offers velocity sensitive monotube shocks at 
significantly lower cost but I have no experience with them.

Does anyone from the group have experience with both brands and could offer 
a comparison or observations?
