The Turboglide was indeed introduced in 1957 - My "Grade"? Retarded!
 
The Turbo-Hyrdramatic 400 - 3-speed Automatic, was introduced in the  
Mid-Year 1965, along with the 396 "Porcupine-valve" motor, and the Caprice as  the 
top of the line model.
