i just finished building a new even better valve cover race timer. i found a 
couple of yellow led caution lights for  traffic light use at a hamfest. they 
show up awsome.our old one worked good but the led's were hard to see in the 
sunlight. now for some reason i wish i could find some more (these were $1.00 
each!)  now when i get more time i will use photo cells to trigger instead of 
the switches under a large section of vinyl siding in each lane.i also added a 
power lead to plug into a car lighter socket in case the internal 6ah battery 
craps out early. this unit will be used at the central ny recall , this 
weekend. in baldwinsville ny. i have pictures of the timer, and will take more 
action shots this weekend.
