Yes, unless you have AC...  The jack fits in a detent.  When the spare
is bolted in, the tire contacts the jack.  There are to possible
locations for the jack handle.  One is trunk, drivers side (stud on
plate forward of the wheel well) or the stud beneath the spare on the
engine side.  GM thought the handle in the trunk got too hot, me
guesses...
