<VV> Jack Question

Seems to me that the spare tire holds it in just fine. No spring, clip
etc. None of my 5 LMs have any thing but the spare tire snugged down on
the jack.

Getting all the information is most of the solution.

Hi everyone,

First the e-pump, now the jack...geez I'm a nuisance  :-)

What holds the jack in place in my 66 convertible? There is small hole
in
the body by the jack "impression" that looks like it might be for a
spring
or a clip/clamp but I have nothing that fits in my parts stock.

For you 66 vert owners out there - is it a spring, a clip or ?
