You can approve or disapprove of them, but you really can't argue about the
definition.  If you have a Corvair with a Corvair drive train it's a
Corvair.  If have a Corvair with a mid-ship SBC or whatever, it's a Corvair
bodied hot rod.  If asked, the DMV would probably call it a composite
vehicle or something.  Call it anything you want. It doesn't change reality.

Might as well have the government change the law of gravity or the speed of
light.
