Please explain the reference to cantilever tires.  The various race 
tires I used on my 66 Corsa, from 1967 through 1972 for street (rain 
tires) and track (dry tires), both Firestone and Goodrich, were reverse 
moulded, low profile tires.  I can't think of any feature that would be 
described by the word "cantilever," unless it was the ply angle, but its 
never too late to learn.
