<VV> Talk about fans

I'm rigging fans on the condenser of a 66 A/C system (Corvair). Do
Bonneville fans run "in series" pneumatically or electrically? Are the fans
identical or different from each other? The fans turn off above a certain
ambient airflow? How is this accomplished? I think I'd like mine to do that,
too.

I would probably do it the same way as on our Bonneville: Two fans around
900 CFM that run in series for a low demand speed and in parallel for high
flow. Of course the Bonne is also engineered so that natural air flow takes
over above 50 mph so they are off then.

One of the first things I plan to look at once I find the right car (have
cash, will travel 8*) is to utilize that natural air flow which is blocked
in the production car.
