Joel,I lowered my 1963 corvan w/o any real negative side affects.I cut the
front spring one coil to match the sagging back springs in the rear.I am
going to do it right though, next time by installing heavy duty springs all
the way around and cutting one coil or having them made up by a suspension
company to sit lower.The other thing I would do different is to install gas
shocks all the way around to keep the front from bouncing over large dips.
