<VV> e-mail spoofs-no Corvair

PayPal is https://www.PayPal.com

Notice the "s" in "https" - means "secure."

Watch out for links in emails that look like this but are really something
else.

Whenever you see a link, place the mouse cursor over the link BUT DO NOT
CLICK ! and look at the "status bar" in your browser, where you should see
the true URL ("link") that will be used when you click it.

Some spoofs will combine valid links to make you feel safe, but other links
on the page may be "spoofed" to catch you unaware !

Never even "test" one to see what happens, either ! It may just open a
program that invades your computer, even if you don't "see" anything.
Trojan horses work like that and then "sleep" until later, or just echo your
keystrokes to another computer (even storing them until you go online).
These programs search out keystrokes that might be passwords, etc.

Have fun, and hope this helps.

(If you already know all this, pass it on ...)

Chaz
