That's FULL  vacume  ALL THE TIME...and only works correctly if you're not 
getting boost....at WOT!

TRUE  VA  is from "ported"  vacume...ABOVE / IN FRONT of the throttle 
plate....variable..

YH  have no provision..but can be drilled!  There's a blank spot where it WAS 
used on other models...


The Mechanical way to get it to work right......

Drill  and tap into ported vacume.......run the hose to the VA/PR  
diaphram...

"TEE  into the hose  with  a "checkvalve"  at both sources.......then  if  
vacume is present......it SUCKs  the one valve open / other shut  and gives 
varying amounts of VA....

Under boost......pushes the one open....other shut  and varying degrees of 
Pressure retard....


If this is too complex..ggggg   Get a SAFEGUARD  with the VA  controlled port 
built in....
