Will a dual MC for a 69 corvair fit a 65. Or do I wait for one to come
from a vendor.

First, there are kits already available. But, the stock parts can fit. To do
the best job you should have the complete trunk package with lines, shuttle
valve, everything. You will have to replace at least one fitting under the
dash. In the 65-66, the fitting split the single out let to feed the left
front, right front and rear lines. The 67 replaces that with one that feeds the
fronts only. You will need that fitting, or a plug for the stock outlet to the
rear. Another single in-out fitting feeds the rear line. The 65 and the 66-up
use a different brake line size to the rear. the 66-up is larger. If you try
to use the 67-69 fitting (from the stock dual master set-up) in a 65, the
fitting on the line to the rear won't fit. It will fit, with a little tweaking
at the front, on the 66. You could find a 66 line - you would need the
splitter fitting at the rear as well. Or you can "Build-up" an adapter for the
larger line from the master to the smaller line to the rear of the 65. The
adapter also acts as an almost 90 degree direction change as well. Let us know
what you do.
