Since last Monday when I discoverd my '66 convertible had been stolen I have been through a lot trying to locate it. I don't have time for all the details now, but I hope I have good news soon.  Right now the good news is that the car is still in this area and some idiot has been seen driving it by several different people. I've had an anonamous tip with the guys name and the name of the road (13 miles longI) where he has been keeping the car. Tonight a friend saw the car and pursued it until the guy lost him.

The bad news is that I have had frustrations with several police departments and several examples of laws protecting the criminals at the expence of the victim. Other bad news is that the idiot who stole it painted it black.
