<VV> Bleeder screws

Subject: <VV> What size bleeder screw
What size bleeder screw should I have gotten?
Autozone checked it against a bolt and it came out as a metric size.
Since I put the same metric sized bleeder in the other wheel cyl.  Did I 
ruin it?
Clarks is close, so its time to order.

I don't remember the actual thread size but they are inch, not metric!
There are no metric parts on a Corvair except the tire valves and ball
bearings.  I do know that FC's are bigger threads than cars.
Autozone doesn't know anything except what is in their computer!
You might have boogered the threads up.  Only way to tell is get the
correct parts from one of our suppliers and try it.  It is not the
thread that seals, it is the tapered seat.
