<VV> Carb overflow

My guesses:

Junk stuck in float valve, stuck open.
Fuel return line plugged.
Float level too high.
Hot soak at shutdown gas overflows.

Hi everyone,'

Any ideas as to what would cause the following?

66 180 rebuilt motor and carb, all runs fine. It's been run for a couple of
hours now and had a few miles on the street.

Out of the blue, at shut down came the dreaded gasoline out of the carb
throat. What would suddenly cause this to happen?

Thanks,
Bob
