Had misplaced my 65 service manual (no mention of keys in 66 supplement) so 
when I got back from the show did the rekey without. Once found (see page 
O-3 and O-4) it was apparent that the glove box lock uses a different 
mechanism than the one described in the manual. The tumblers are an 
entirely different shape (though marked the same) and there are only five. 
Further there is no spring retainer clip, the tumblers are staked in place 
with a spring under the bar on the side, not in the middle.

Does anyone know which years are like this ? Both cyl I have now are the 
same. Mine now works but am curious.

ps anyone have a pair of "quick" steering arms for a LM they would care to 
part with ? Thought I would check here before ordering from Clark's.
