<VV> valve adjustment

We always turn in the rocker nut 3/4 turn from zero lash and never have
to readjust.
are you sure your lifters are "pumped" up? you can tell this by
depressing the push rod end of the rocker and watching for any inward
movement or a "spongy" feeling when you depress the rocker. It gets a
little trickey on the adjustment if the lifters are new or old ones have
leaked down a little. Also if you do not get the push rod into the lifter
pocket correctly and adjust the valve with the rod up on the ledge, it
will work off the ledge and cause a tight adjustment. Also recheck the
firing order, this has caught me a few times. Look for vacuum leaks, this
will cause backfiring.

Hope this may help.
