So this means that Seth won't have to line up a barrel to borrow after all?

Folks
In the 70's, both the State of New York and the Province of Ontario passed
laws making it illegal to attempt to go over the Falls in a Barrel, or
anything else for that matter. That is, if you try it and survive, you're
going to jail.

The "Point of No Return" is a spot in the river that is patrolled 24/7 by
the Coast Guard, during pleasure boating season.
It's just above the rapids. If your boat slips through that spot, you're
going over unless someone tosses out a life ring, which are along the shore
tied to posts every couple hundred feet

A few years back, the ABC affilliate was doing a report from the falls, and
often they use the brink of the falls for a backdrop when closing the story.

While the reporter was talking and the film rolling, (the reporter was
standing about 20 feet from the rail) someone walked into the background of
the shot, swung their legs over the rail, and jumped. Body never found.
Probably won't be until they "shut off the Falls" again as is planned. Last

time they did it (in 1969) they found approximately 30 sets of human bones.
