Folks
John makes a valid point.

There IS a lot worth crossing the border for. Just be smart about it. Don't try and bring those Contraband Cuban Stogies back with you. Same for the Canadian beer. Any Canadian will tell you the less expensive and fresher Molson,Labatt's,O'Keefes, etc is found on our side anyway.

Don't smart off when they ask you what country you're citizen of. Say "russia", just as a joke, and see where you end up. If they pull you for a search, stay cool, calm and most of all co-operative.

If you have any idea that someone might have used drugs in your car (BEFORE OR SINCE YOU HAVE OWNED IT)--smoked pot, rolled a joint,etc---vacuum your car very well, and be sure the ash-trays get emptied and cleaned. They can now test ashes for THC residue. No seeds in your carpet. Not pointing fingers, but I know there are some hippies left out there. If you're not one of them but know someone who is, let them know.

Ask Gary Swiatowy where a sesame seed from your quarter Pounder from Mickey D's can end up when you aren't looking.

There's ooodles of neat stuff in Niagara Falls, USA that is worth crossing over to see. A drive over the Rainbow Bridge, and taking the river parkway back to the Peace Bridge in Buffalo is a beautiful scenic cruise.

More as convention time approaches on that stuff.
