<VV> Hello and a brag

I just popped into this list again to say hello to all, do a brief update,
and brag. It has been a while since I was last on the list. Due to having
to sell a house I disposed of all my Corvairs and most of the parts. I no
longer have a shop and a place to keep stuff but I have kept my CORSA
membership.

Since then I have been full timing in a travel trailer. I left California
this last March and am now in Asheville North Carolina. Over the course of
the year I have been cross country twice and have travelled from Texas in
the south, Iowa in the north, and the Atlantic coast of North Carolina in
the east. I am at my son's place here in Asheville. If anyone needs
Corvair parts in the Waynesville area, he is the store manager of the
Autozone there and can find parts. This Sunday I start the pull west again
down through SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, NM, AZ, to CA. See my journal, link
in the sig, for my travels.

Lastly I really want to brag on my son. His book is now on Amazon and may
be on interest to anyone working on a transmission. I have not seen it yet
but in one of our emails I mentioned the Corvair transmission and I hope he
put in the reference. I get my copy when I get back to California. His
book is available at

This is a brief visit as I will leave here and the WiFi I installed and
will be without Internet connection for the next few weeks.
