Bridgestone/Firestone produces Peerless Tires and Dayton tires at their Oklahoma Facility. The Peerless President II and the Dayton Quadra SE are inexpensive and yet are still available as 185/80/13 WW tires. Diamondback Classics uses the Dayton Quadra SE as the base for their 185/80/13 1 inch width whitewall tire.

Close to authentic size in a radial tire can be purchased for $26.99 at Peerless. That price includes mounting, balancing and rotation. Many Peerless dealers offer tire siping on site. Cooper Trendsetter SE's are $45.00 per tire. Kumho AS 795 tires can be had for $47.99 per tire. The Dayton Quadra is a good tire too and if Diamondback is using it too that means something to all of us. Theirs are $132.00 per tire.

Corvair tire choices are less than they used to be but we do still have options. As winter approaches consider having the tires on all your vehicles siped. Check out www.sipers.com.
