Hey Genell, I haven't seen any list replies to your questions so I
will give you a couple of
tips. Wash the paint with plain water and some liquid dish detergent
like Palmolive or Dawn
added to the bucket so you have a good bubbling in the water. If you
have a five gallon paint-type
bucket like Home Depot or Lowes sell it would be a good choice as you
want plenty of cold clean
detergent added water to soak and penetrate the crud on the paint
while you are washing the car.
Initially use a 100% cotton bath towel and wash the whole car with
plenty of the soapy solution and
lots of elbow grease. After the first wash, check out the situation
and see if you need a second wash.
During the second wash you could use a VERYSOFT plastic bristled
brush in a small area to see if
this will remove additional mildew, dirt or stain from the problem surface.

You may use 0000 extra fine steel wool on the chrome bumpers to clean
them. Cold hose water and the
steel wool should remove anything from the surface of the chrome
bumpers DO NOT use steel wool on
any of the aluminium bright work trim pieces as it will ruin the
anodizing of the trim piece and leave you
with a dull surface instead of the shiny one. If in doubt about which
trim pieces are aluminium don't hesitate
to ask the list or me. Good luck and give the list an update on your progress.
