Just ran some numbers and think I will have to hook up a tach because what
I am seeing does not make sense unless the PG is running at about 12% slip
at high rpm.

My 110/PG/3.55 is shifting at 40-42 mph which according to Bob's book
should be at 4060 rpm. Running the numbers 24" tires/3.55 axle/1.82 Low
gear indicates the rpm should be more like 3600 at 40 mph. I *assume* the
difference is made up of slip in the torque converter. In other words the
stall multiplication is 2.6:1 and drops at high speeds/cruise

So just before shift at WOT, the multiplication has dropped to about 12%.
Does this sound right ? Incidentally my stall speed seems slightly low at
1600 rpm WOT with brake locked. Again engine is probably somewhat worn so
not going to do that often but 0-50 (not 60) seems to be right about 10
seconds.

Just looking for a nice cruiser so is "enough".
