<VV> Convention Parking

I just returned from the pre-planning trip for the convention with Harry Jensen & Larry Claypool.  The host hotel is a WONDERFUL location and I think all of you will be impressed by the attitude of the staff of the Adam's Mark and the host committee.
Let me clarify something here and now.  There is NO charge for parking at the host hotel for registered guests.  We have taken care of this when we did the contract with the Adam's Mark when we negotiated the contract.  For those not staying at the hotel and coming in to do the events, there is no charge for that either.  Although they will not have parking garage privilages,  we have an alternate site right next door to the host hotel where there is plenty of parking available.
If you call the hotel directly to book your room, you will more then likely learn of the free parking.  However, if you call the "800" which is central reservations located in St. Louis, they may say something about a parking charge, as that is STANDARD proceedure for all Adam's Mark hotels.  Just ignore it and don't argue the ppint, as there will be no charge.
