<VV> Turbo idle issues

My favorite mechanic found one of the rough idle issues with my '65 turbo.
There is a small vacuum line that goes from the turbo housing to the
crankcase ventilation tube. It connects with a short segment of rubber line
that was split. Replacing this resulted in a much smoother running motor.
Now it idles smoothly, but it constantly cycles between a fast and normal
idle.

I'm getting there..

Any replies or comments should just be addressed to the list since I am
writing from my wife's email address.
