<VV> parking brakes

<snip>After the parking brake quit working on my first
Corvair I just started 
carrying a brick and placed it where one of the wheels
would roll 
against 
it.  Did lots of things in my youth I wouldn't
recommend now.

This made me laugh.  I forgot about it until now, but
I used to carry a spare calculus book in my Fiat for
exactly this purpose.  Worked well, and I enjoyed the
revenge on the subject.
