VVers:

Earlier this summer I posted on VV looking for help with a top-side oil
leak in my '66 Corsa Coupe.

As it turned out, we got virtually no rain this summer in New England so
I managed to drive my '65 convertible almost every day. The '66's
status was out of sight, out of mind.

Well, we finally got slammed by rain this week so I made the time to
work on the Coupe. As it turned out, the oil sender was ok. The
problem was that the paper gasket on the 90-degree oil filter adapter
(the car has A/C) had split and that's where the leak was coming from.
I needed to replace the filter and change the oil anyway, so it didn't
take me too long to see what the issue was.

All is dry now (both the weather and the engine compartment), so the car
will actually go back in the garage until the air gets too cool for the
ragtop.

Thanks to everyone on this list for their help.
