      Just purchased a piston ring expander.  The description says it 
installs and removes rings from 3/64 to 1/4 in.   There are the chrome 
rings and the (what look like) gray steel rings that are 1/16 [no 
problem there].  My concern would be with the conformatic rings and the 
black with a chrome edge rings that measure 1/48 inch.  Will the 
expander work on these rings, or do I need a special Corvair ring 
expander?
