Thanks for the notes on changing rear seals....

Now what I REALLY want to see is how to change the *front* seal without dropping the engine! <GGG>

       Smitty Says:  Sam you don't need to (or want to ) lower) the
engine to change the seal.  Remove the grill and rear mount cover. 
Support the engine.  Remove the rear mount completely.  Remove the rear
mount steel support bracket.  Make (or buy) a puller using a piece of
5/16 or 3/8 bar stock with two 1 1/2 X 3/8 holes in it to match the ones
in the balancer.  Remove the crank bolt and washer.  Put the bolt back in
a few threads.  Bolt the puller to the balancer and tighten the bolts so
the middle of the bar presses against the crank bolt head.  Alternately
tighten the two bolts to pull the balancer.  You may have to start with
the crank bolt pretty far in and bring it out as needed to gain more
pulling distance.  You will see how this all comes together when you try
it.
