<VV> Widow scum

In my experience, this scum accumulates much faster in cars in which people
smoke than in cars in which none does.
Otherwise, describe your problem a little more: what is the pattern of
the buildup? An even film, or swirls such as your rag might make, wiping the
windows. There IS a technique for cleaning car (and other) windows, and the
recurrence of swirl marks or streaks may indicate failure to implement the
technique.
Are the upholstery and carpets in your car stock, or aftermarket? How
old?
     I use household window cleaner.

What have you found that will clean the "fog" that builds up on the insides
of the windows on Corvairs and every other car on the road? Is there a
product made, just for cars that really works?

I've tried just about everything that my wife has for cleaning the house
windows and although they appear to be clean, you soon discover that's not
the case.
