Haven't yet. Is up in the air at the moment for a new starter and fresh air
hose. Wnt to get everything right in the garage first before taking out
again. Did notice that compression on one cyl (just tried one) that was 150
cold dropped to 135 when warmed up. This bothers me.

Running very smooth now but need to drive a bit and see what happens -
problem was not immediate last time, had to drive for about 20 minutes
before started acting up.

Now have checked all carb vent passages (did not take apart because said to
be just rebuilt since issue started, look it, and all external and idle
passages were clean as were stones). Did adjust fast idle to about .070" on
second step (had almost no opening before), verified lower vents open when
throttle closed. Sanded bakelite and added a soft gasket on either side
just to be sure.

Timing verified statically (and was very close). Plugs look good. Ignition
is new.

Once starter is in will try to do a balance test to check for a weak cyl.
CHT gauge is backordered for sensors so have no idea of operating
temperature other than TEMP does not come on.

Limiting factors are temp in garage which is still over 90 and my day job
which requires a lot of attention.
