Which is EXACTLY what one person running at PIR at the convention had done.
They fabbed up adapter plates similar to those used in the Otto Rotated Carb
set up and, Voila! A simple yet effective way to FI a 140 motor.

Joel

Subject: <VV> Megasquirt

There are a number of people on my Datsun 510 list using Megasquirts. I
thought I'd mention that one of them has discovered that late-model Suzuki
large displacement bikes use individual throttle bodies of various diameters
that can easily be adapted to other engines. Best part is that they can be
had at reasonable prices with a little searching.

I am considering installing a Mega Squirt fuel injection system on my
Porvair. I
have looked at their web site and the system seems to be pretty straight
forward
in the installation and setup. However, before I commit to this project, I'd
like to find out how others in VV/Fastvairs might have set up their engines.
I
have questions such as:

What throttle body did you use?
What fuel pump?
Did you replace all your fuel lines?
What did you do for the injection mapping? (Basic starting point)

The Mega Squirt system is essentially the control unit and it is up to the
builder to assemble the mechanical pieces. As such, a builder has an
extensive
range of components, either new or from salvage cars, that might be used.
So, if
you have some experience you would like to share, please let me know.

Thanks,
