By the way, this was taken at an All-Chevy show held in Smithfield, Virginia 
on April 1st.  Alice won an award for the "Coolest Car of the 1960s"  This 
is NOT an April Fools Joke!!

I resemble that remark!!!

Actually, we were discussing the possible of somebody closing the lid on me
at the time I was sitting in the trunk.  It is certainly possible - I was
able to bend my head sideways and pull the lid almost to closing with no
difficulty.  I stopped short of actually latching it, however, because I had
the keys in my pocket, and unlike modern cars, it is not possible to easily
open the Corvair trunk from the inside.  Had somebody actually done that,
however, I would have popped the lock retainer and then used my key to turn
the latch mechanism.
