Harry,

The original question was intended to be (but somewhat unclear) about the 
mechanism BELOW the air grill.  I told him that I was 90% sure they were 
black out of the factory.  No overspray - because I'm pretty sure the grills 
were painted before they were installed.

Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.

What are we talking about here; the articulating arms hooked to the wiper 
motor UNDER the grill, or the satin chrome arms that the blades attach to? 
Above the grill.
