Back in the 50;s the six cylinder Chevvy motor was called the "Blue Flame 
Six" Obviously a takeoff.

Suspect that steering wheel has five, six, or seven screws under the center 
cap - would be an indicator as to who made it.

Hood take is a aftermarket made by Dixon ("Dixco") . Colored section makes 
it a later model. Was a pretty good tach and didn't require as big a hole 
in the hood as a factory unit. I have the schematic somewhere.

Doubt that it is a Fitch, probably homebuilt, but other than the whitewalls 
don't think it looks that bad myself.
