<VV> What was I thinking?

OK.  Doing the summer wakeup on the wifes 63.  Everything seemed in order, 
took it for a drive.  Left the old grommet for the firewall (wires+gas) in 
the bay.  Did not re-install.  1/2 way threw the drive hit the gas hard, 
and the peddle came back up.  But the  I was still at 3000rpm.  When I 
could pull it over, closer inspection revealed the grommet under the carb 
on the drivers side blocking it from returning to idle.
