<VV> Glass Problem

Grinding to me refers to the operation of taking a grinding wheel on a
4" to 7" grinder and removing metal with a lot of sparks. This is
typical of grinding down weld beads.

The hot sparks do melt glass and stick to it. Cover all glass in the
area the sparks will fall. Of couse now you have a new problem if you
use flamable material to cover the glass. There are welding blankets on
the market for this use. Cardboard does pretty good as it does not flame
up as readily as loose paper or cloth. But it still can catch fire!

These hot sparks will also stick into your paint. Cold sparks laying on
your paint will rust, another hazard of vehicles laying around the shop.
