I researched the 'goodness' of Dexcool, especially with the Northstar folks, 
which have a nasty habit of blowing headgaskets. I've heard all the dire 
talk that this stuff was junk and dangerous. I had just rebuilt a Northstar, 
and didn't want the issues cropping up in this project.
Turns out, thier are just as many good reports as bad; actually more good 
than bad. Convinced me to replace Dexcool with Dexcool.
I've got it in four vehicles now, without any trouble.
Sorry this is on the corvair list, but since its been brought up...
