Two tools every Corvair owner needs in order of cost:

       1. A good rubber mallet--less than $10.00 (or $5.00 if it's from
China)
       2. A shot filled, plastic faced dead blow hammer ($30.00 or
less--mine is an Estwing)

They make it much easier to "worry off" rear housings, top covers, heads,
cylinders, etc. without destroying them.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Frohe Weihnachten, Joyeux Noel to all of you
out there in Corvair land. Be sure to come in from the cold long enough for
your family and/or friends to enjoy your company.
