What about just using a good lock nut?

Truth be known, last time I did it I used whatever mismatched used nuts I
had around the garage. Sure, a lock nut would work. If I was planning ahead
and had any suspicion of ever pulling it apart again, I would use a
stainless nut. 
Odds are, you will never have it apart again......right? but what if the
car gets wrecked and you want to save the suspension........maybe a little
never seize anyways....
