<VV> Budgeting for a Transmission Rebuild -- Getting Closer

VVers:

I made a post last September on this topic and I'm actually getting
closer to doing the deed for my '65 Monza 110/4spd. To review, I'm
looking to do this because of some big-time groaning noises, and a
chipped reverse gear that's so bad it throws the car into neutral when
the car backs up.

I received a lot of good feedback on all the items that should be
replaced if you're going to do a transmission rebuild or replace. I'll
repeat them here just for confirmation:

    * Dale flywheel
    * Pressure plate
    * Clutch disk
    * New throwout bearing
    * New pilot bushing
    * New transmission and engine bell housing seals

This leaves me with three questions:

    1) Is the above list complete?

    2) Do people recommend rebuilding the transmission or going with a
"good used"?

    3) Besides Corvair Underground and Clark's, are there other good
sources for rebuilts and/or "good used" '65 4-spd transmissions?

Thanks in advance.
