<VV> No Red Interior

Jim--something to consider--I think of Ermine White as being a "blue" white,
not a "red" white. Another way of saying it is that Ermine White, to my
eyes, is a cool white, not a warm one.

As a result, I have never cared for red interiors on Ermine White cars. Blue
interiors, however, look great, IMHO.

This is the direction I went with my '66 500 coupe, which had a nasty gold
exterior with fawn interior originally. Pics here:

I was getting all jazzed up at work about the prospect of a 'red all over'
car but I think the white/black combo will look fantastic with the red
paint. I want it to be as close to original as makes sense for me.

Andrew,

Christine originally came from the factory painted Ermine White with a black
convertible top (C-2) and a red interior (740). Somewhere between then and
now a PO painted her Madeira Maroon. (And painted the rear cove silver too,
even though she's a Monza.) While some people may like this combination, it
isn't one I would have picked myself. To my eyes, the two reds don't quite
go together well. One of these days I'd like to fix up the rust in the
rockers and have her repainted white.
